This December, I’m excited to present A Holiday Salon — a four-day exhibition and retail experience that brings together over 20 Australian artists and designers, all curated with the holiday season in mind. From Thursday 11 December to Sunday 14 December, I’ll be transforming Danielle Brustman's Superfab Shop in Collingwood into a brimming emporium of gift-sized treasures.

With works spanning ceramics, painting, textiles, sculpture and functional design, A Holiday Salon is a celebration of abundance and discovery. I wanted to create a space that feels lively and layered — where emerging talent sits alongside established names, and unexpected dialogues emerge across texture, form, and genre. It’s curated to inspire curiosity and delight.

My curatorial approach continues to be shaped by a long-standing affinity for object-led practices and contemporary craft. Through my new platform, Amy Voterakis, I’m continuing this narrative — presenting pop-up exhibitions and an evolving online gallery of Australian talent.

Visitors to A Holiday Salon can expect to encounter the unexpected. Think: paintings that capture the alchemy of golden hour, lava-esque vessels dripping with molten texture, sculptural ceramics that behave like paintings, woven love letters to country, and gilded works glowing in 24-carat brilliance. All the artists in my catalogue will be represented plus many more.

With complimentary Delinquente Wines and Bizzarro Aperitivo on pour from open to close, it’s the perfect stop to get into gear for the festive season. All works will be available to purchase — and take home — throughout the exhibition.
