One-of-a-kind ceramic lamp from Juyeon's 'Saekdong' series. The series of vases, lamps and vessels are inspired by Saekdong, a type of hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) characterised by colourful patchwork stripes. The asymmetrical faceted sides are glazed in a soft palette of grey, blue, green and yellow.
When the lamp is on, the yellow glaze on the inside of the shade beautifully reflects the yellow colour creating a warm and ambient light. The perfect piece of functional art.
