Shattered Blue by Georgina Yen Qin Lee takes the classic form of a Chinese vase and delicately twists and distorts the form. This process embodies the themes present in Lee's practice, as she reckons with both cultural shame and reverence.
Georgina uses the medium of ceramics as a conduit to reconnect with her Southern Chinese and South East Asian ancestral roots while exploring her lived experience growing up as an Asian woman in Australia.
