Rivers Flow is a melding of frosty blue and foggy greys worked up on the surface with a dabbed and daubed brush work texture accentuated with the addition of sand. The work holds two energies simultaneously, the calm of the soft colours and the dynamic energy of the textured surface.
Green works with her materials wet incorporating plaster, dyes, oxides, both foraged and cultivated natural materials and self-prepared pigments. Green's sculptural works, emerge through this tactile and embodied process, and capture natures fleeting moments of wonderment.
