Green works with her materials wet incorporating plaster, dyes, oxides, both foraged and cultivated natural materials and self-prepared pigments. Green's sculptural works, emerge through this tactile and embodied process, and capture natures fleeting moments of wonderment.
Meditation is a soft and dreamy work almost like looking up into a sky with charcoal, lilac and dusky pink clouds melding into one another. The surface is relatively smooth, but punctuated with a constellation of coarse particles that sit just under the painted surface.
